Bernard Ezeh is a seasoned IT professional with over three decades of experience implementing IT solutions in the Oil and Gas Value Chain. In these years, Mr Ezeh has, through various assignments and attachments, worked in Africa, Europe, America, and Asia, in various capacities, helping to drive major transformational projects for Corporations through implementation of SAP ERP and other IT solutions. In this period, he assisted to implement, stabilize or revamp Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for several organisations, ranging from global corporations such as Shell across multiple countries, through National oil companies such as NNPC, to JV Incoporated companies such as NLNG, to mention a few. Mr Ezeh has a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and M.Sc. Degree in Engineering Business Management from Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) University of Warwick, United Kingdom. He is happily married with 2 boys and 2 girls.
Prof. Fidel I. Ugwuowo is an esteemed academic whose roots trace back to Ovoko, a community in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. He completed his secondary education at Boys Secondary School Ovoko. His higher education journey began at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he obtained B.Sc. (Hons) in Statistics in 1988. Recognized for his academic excellence, Prof. Ugwuowo was awarded the Jamie Brooks Memorial Scholarship in 1990, which enabled him to pursue an M.Sc. in Operations Research and Industrial Statistics. Furthering his academic journey, he was sponsored by the World Bank to conduct his Ph.D. research at the University of Ulster, Coleraine, Northern Ireland, UK. He was awarded his Ph.D. by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 1996. Prof. Ugwuowo began his academic career at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in April 1992 as an Assistant Lecturer. Through dedication and significant contributions to his field, he rose to the rank of Professor on October 1, 2010. He has a prolific academic output as his research interests are diverse with over 60 research publications in both local and international journals. He has attended numerous conferences and workshops worldwide, contributing to the global discourse in his fields of expertise. Professor Ugwuowo is currently preoccupied with developing methodologies that utilize statistical models to improve business performance. He is happily married and blessed with children. His personal and professional life stands as a testament to his commitment to education, research, and family.
Prof. B. G. Akuchu is a distinguished Cameroonian mathematician with a robust academic and research background. He was born on July 20, 1970, in Babanki Tungo, Cameroon and is married to Che Fongwa Noella Mankaah. His educational journey began at the Cameroon Protestant College (CPC) Bali in the Republic of Cameroon. He earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where he was the best graduating student in 1996. He then pursued his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), achieving the distinction of being the best PhD graduate in the 2005/2006 academic session and winner of Vice Chancellor’s prize for best doctoral (PhD) graduating student in the entire university. Prof. Akuchu joined UNN's Department of Mathematics in 1999 and has been serving as an Associate Professor. His research focuses on Mathematical Analysis, and he has published numerous papers in international peer-reviewed journals. Throughout his career, he has also contributed to the academic community through various teaching engagement. Prof. Akuchu's commitment to education and research has made significant contributions to the field of Mathematics and has positively impacted the academic institutions he has been affiliated with. Professor Akuchu`s current interest is in the area of applying mathematical models to improve business performance.
Miss Yvonne Joseph's professional career is marked by versatility and continuous growth. She began as a sales executive at Sky Bank, which is now known as Polaris Bank and subsequently Credit Direct Limited. Her career took a significant turn when she joined Kabo Solutions Ltd, where she served as an SAP consultant with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) as a major client. Through her hardwork, dedication, and determination, Yvonne achieved certification as an SAP Project System and Business Intelligence Consultant. In this role, she played a crucial part in supporting the Corporation by developing SAP reports and Dashboards for tracking and reporting key metrices of the ongoing major projects. She also undertook the responsibility of training NNPC staff on how to effectively use the reports and dashboards to make informed business decisions. Her contributions not only enhanced the efficiency of the organization's operations but also underscored her expertise and commitment to excellence. Miss Yvonne demonstrated an early aptitude for mathematics in her educational journey. This interest led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State, and subsequently, a Master of Science degree in Mathematics with specialization in Optimization from the Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta, Ogun State. She is very passionate about applying optimisation principles to address business challenges, and watching the performance of such businesses improve significantly.
